Filmed in southern Ontario, Canada and in Cape Town, South Africa, the series is a re-telling of the adventures of Sinbad from The Arabian Nights.
The tv show is set in a land of myth and magic in the Middle East, around the Persian Gulf. Sailing from Baghdad in their Nomad ship, Sinbad and his crew search for wealth and adventure. Along the way they face witches, wizards, strange tribes, and fantastic creatures.
The tone of the series resembled its contemporaries Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Xena: Warrior Princess. With great visual effects and fight scenes, the sword and sorcery adventures in this series will surely keep you at the edge of your seat.
