Jennifer Garner catapulted into stardom with her lead role on the tv series Alias (2001). Born in Texas, she was raised in West Virginia and spent nine years of her adolescence studying ballet. Her breakthrough came when she landed a role on the tv show Felicity (1998).

Jennifer plays the lead role, CIA Agent Sydney Bristow, on Alias. For her work, she has received four consecutive Emmy nominations for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. She also received four Golden Globe nominations and won once, as well as received two Screen Actors Guild Award nominations and won once.

Aside from appearing on the tv show Alias, her filmography also includes Elektra (2005), 13 Going on 30 (2004), Daredevil (2003), Pearl Harbor (2001) and Dude, Where's My Car? (2000). She is now married to her Daredevil co-star Ben Affleck. The celebrity couple has a two-year-old daughter, Violet Anne Affleck.
