Jennifer Aniston is an Emmy- and Golden Globe Award-winning American film and television actress, best known for her role as Rachel Green in the highest-rated, award-winning television sitcom Friends.

Jennifer's first television roles were in 1990, appearing in shows such as Molloy and Ferris Bueller. In 1994, her career went to full blast when she auditioned for a new NBC sitcom, Friends. The producers originally wanted her to play Monica Geller, but she persuaded them that she was better suited for the role of Rachel.

Friends became a massive success, lasting for 10 seasons (from 1994 to 2004). Jennifer, along with her co-stars, gained wide renowned among television viewers and her hairstyle at that time, known as the "Rachel cut", was widely copied. In addition, the cast of Friends each received a salary of one million dollars per episode for the last two seasons of the tv show. Apart from her television work, Jennifer also starred in several films, including Picture Perfect, The Object of My Affection, Rock Star, Bruce Almighty, Along Came Polly, Rumor Has It, and The Break-Up.
