Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Joshua Jackson spent the first eight years of his life in California before returning to Canada. At the age of 11, he decided to pursue acting. He first landed a commercial for Keebler's potato chips and since then, he has had a full career ranging from theater to television.

Joshua's famous for his on-screen movie role as Charlie Conway, the team-spirited captain of a hockey team, in The Mighty Ducks film series. In television, he is best known as the funny and lovable Pacey Witter in the hit tv show Dawson's Creek. For three consecutive years, he won Best TV Actor at the Teen Choice Awards (1999, 2000, 2001) for the said series.

This young celebrity's filmography includes Scream 2 (1997), Urban Legend (1998), Cruel Intentions (1999), Gossip (2000), The Skulls (2000), Ocean's Eleven (2001), Lone Star State of Mind (2002), Cursed (2005), and Bobby (2007), among others. He currently stars in the remake of an Asian horror film, Shutter, to be released this year.
